For the first time on revelry podcast, we’re reacting to Reddit dating and relationship stories and debating what we would actually do in each situation. Is dating your best friend’s younger sister crossing a line? What do you do when someone uses AI to create an entire fake relationship and family with you? Is paying for a first date with CDC vouchers embarrassing? Can going to Geylang ever be a way of dealing with loneliness? And after waiting three years for a partner who wanted to remain a virgin, would you take them back after they slept with someone else? Things quickly go beyond the original Reddit stories as we get into dating double standards, relationships, loneliness, AI and online impersonation, purity culture, sex and entitlement. We also somehow get into a very serious debate over whether $100 in CDC vouchers is worth more than $100 cash.
